Hellooo!!!
I am Raquel Diniz, a Brazilian visual artist and art educator based in Amsterdam. I work with different media but mostly analog collage, illustration and mural. My work is mainly colorful and playful, as I like to represent myself and express my feelings through my own art.
I am one of the founders of the Collage Collective Amsterdam (2025). With collage, I found a way to recycle magazines and books, creating art that can tell a story, or be provocative, funny, touching, and full of meanings and interpretations. Among the themes present in my works are eroticism, identity and my hometown.
My atelier (number 5.3) is located in the cultural complex Baggerbeest, in Amsterdam East. And I also work as a volunteer at the gallery FactorIJ, in IJburg, where I help to organize the monthly life drawing session Behind the Curtains.
